Facing each other across the Thames these two immense buildings bear witness to man's devotion to God and Art. Our tour is a fascinating look at both these great institutions. You rendezvous with our guide for coffee at 10.30a.m. at St Paul's. The morning is spent exploring the cathedral. This is the church that Londoners think of as their own. However, it is also where great national events have taken place. Our guide will tell you all about these and the team of master craftsmen who helped Sir Christopher Wren to build his great masterpiece 300 years ago.

After lunch we visit Tate Modern. Even if you think you don't like modern art, you will enjoy Tate Modern. The building alone makes the tour worthwhile — you cannot fail to be impressed by the sheer scale as you enter the vast Turbine Hall. Modern art can sometimes seem inaccessible but our guide enjoys bringing the works to life with fascinating anecdotes. Whether your group are experts or novices, there will be something for you. We end, as always, with a break for tea and you'll be on your way home by 4.45p.m.
