This tour is all about celebrating a great city and its people who overcame a time of great difficulty with raw courage and resourcefulness. Our full-day tour combines a visit to the Churchill Museum with a coach tour recalling life in London in the Second World War. We start the day with a coffee stop in central London at 10.30a.m. For your morning coach tour you are in the hands of one of our expert guides who will weave together the story of London at war. You will see where the bombs fell, hear about great feats of bravery

and discover how people lived, worked and played while facing great hardships. There are also tales of the royal family, Charles De Gaulle, Roosevelt — and King Zog of Albania. After lunch we visit the Cabinet War Rooms, an underground labyrinth of offices and accommodation used by Churchill and his wartime government. We also look at the stunning Churchill Museum which tells the story of his remarkable life. After a break for tea you will be heading home by 4.45p.m.
