This is a perfect summer's day outing. In the morning you visit Marble Hill House which once belonged to a king's mistress and in the afternoon you board your boat for a delightful trip on the River Thames from Richmond to Hampton Court.
Please meet our guide at 10.30a.m. at Marble Hill House for coffee before you start your tour. In the 18th century if you were King part of the job description was that you had a mistress. Henrietta Howard had all the right attributes being very beautiful and 'exceedingly respectable and respected'. She adored Marble Hill House and our tour

brings you up close and personal to the lady, the house, and the extravagant fashions and conventions of the time. For lunch we drive to Richmond-upon-Thames and in the afternoon enjoy a delightful river cruise, passing by beautiful countryside, picturesque islands, magnificent mansions and quirky riverside homes. Our final destination is Hampton Court where we once more come face to face with royalty as we enjoy a magnificent view of the Palace. Finally there is time for tea and you'll be waving goodbye to our guide by 4.45p.m.
