Wouldn't it be nice to be able to travel back in time, to see once again the Christmases we all used to know? Well, on this tour that's almost what we do, taking a look at Christmas past but without a Scrooge in sight. By the end of this tour you will really feel that you have stepped back to when things were nowhere near as frantic, and certainly less commercial, than they are today. Our starting point is the delightful Geffrye Museum where, after taking refreshments we take a tour of the rooms with their historic domestic interiors. They are decorated for Christmas in a style appropriate for the period so we can glimpse the festive season as Shakespeare, Johnson and Dickens  

would have known it. After this touch of nostalgia our guide will take you on a coach tour to see the very best of the dazzling London lights. We will have a stop at Somerset House where, in the courtyard of this magnificent 18th century building, skaters glide on an ice rink lit by blazing torches. This is a four-hour tour, starting at 2p.m. at the Geffrye and ending in central London. Exactly where you say goodbye to our guide will depend on where you are going home to. This tour is always extremely popular and since it is available for less than a month we are advising groups to book early to ensure that they get the date they want.
