This is a delightful day out in one of England's oldest areas of open land.
You meet our guide at 10.30a.m. in a charming village. We visit a unique Tardis of a church – our guide will explain more. You can also see the grave of one of England's greatest crime writers once you have identified the inscription 'what's on' his gravestone!
We rejoin your coach for a drive through the diverse Forest landscape over heath land where the famous ponies graze, through woods of oak, beech and pine on to Lymington. We stop for lunch in this charming seaport and market town. After lunch it's back

on the coach for the short drive to picturesque Buckler's Hard. This historic 18th century shipbuilding village is where vessels for Nelson's fleet were built. You can wander in and out of the cottages to see the recreations of the homes of a labourer and shipwright as well as visit the Maritime Museum. A 30-minute cruise along the river gives you the chance to relax, sit back and simply enjoy the wonderful surroundings.
After this it's back on the coach to explore more of the Forest before a stop for tea. You will be heading home by 4.45p.m.
